Thanks for checking out my site. This is my first official blog post, I guess, so this is where I will take a moment to share my vision for this website. I have two projects that are ready to be shared, though neither are completed at this time. I hope to share some of my writing process with anyone who might be interested. I’d also like to hear people’s input so that I can better my own writing. My prayer for this website is that it will become a platform for discussion with you as I finalize two projects.

So what are these projects? Well the first will be released on January 3 at 9:00 PM. For the next twelve weeks, every week I will share a new chapter at 9:00 PM on Wednesday evening. The story follows a pair of police officers through an overnight shift. I don’t want to give a lot more away at this time. I hope that I can get some impressions from you as the chapters are released.

I’ll post each chapter and will also have a link to my YouTube channel where I will read the chapter for those of you who might want to listen instead of actually read it. For this, you’re getting what you pay for so, lower your expectations please. I don’t have any fancy equipment, I’ll probably just record on my phone, but you’ll be able to listen to it while you’re driving or working if you want.

The last chapter of that story will be released on March 20. The story is not completed yet, but this will be a satisfying temporary conclusion. I really don’t know how this is going to go, so we’ll see what happens from there. I’m trusting it to the Spirit. I will provide a link with each chapter to a separate Reddit page for discussion, as well.

On March 27, I plan to release something of a teaser for my other project. This is very early stages of what will possibly be a four book series. This is a story I am writing with my daughter and have been reading to her as we develop it. I am writing it as a story that is best read out loud to my daughter, who is currently 9.

I am intentionally writing her into the story as a 13 year old girl, living in a different but somewhat similar time as ours. She has been helping me with getting some of the feelings and emotions right. I plan to release another 12 week series of this book, but it might be shorter for this one. I will again include links to YouTube and Reddit for audio and discussions.

And that’s it. If all goes perfectly, I pray we are able to build an online/in-person community that can build a story together. A story that can inspire our children to be brave, strong, and alert. Prepared for what will likely be some difficult, turbulent times. And I hope you’re somewhat entertained by what I write in the process. From there, we’ll trust the rest to the Spirit and see how far He can take things!
